A New Name: Ember August

If you’ve visited my website before, you may notice that things look a little different.

I’m now going by the name Ember August.

Nothing else has changed. I’m still the same person, offering the same thoughtful, curious and connection-focused experiences that many of you already know me for. This is simply a change of name that feels like a better reflection of who I am today.

If you arrived here looking for Ember Organa, you’re in exactly the right place.

My sincerest apologies to the Star Wars fans out there. Using the name Organa has served me well over the years, acting as a beacon to fellow nerds while slipping quietly under the radar of anyone who didn’t catch the reference. Compatibility goes a long way when connecting with someone and I do enjoy finding my people.

However, with various new projects and future endeavours on the horizon, this felt like the right time to let Organa retire. I’ve chosen a name that feels a little more grounded, a little more timeless, and ultimately less borrowed and more ‘me’.

I can’t wait to share my continued adventures with you.
